Summary: n The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) serves as a professional provider with the responsibility to practice in accordance with the laws and regulations governing the practice of an APN in the state in which services are performed. The APN is responsible for working in collaboration with patients, families, caregivers and the primary care physician to deliver episodic acute care and chronic medical management for patients with progressive illnesses.
